Diagnose First, Quote Second, Work Third
Step one - we find the real problem. A plumber inspects the issue in person, using a sewer camera or other diagnostic tools where they are relevant - inside a drain line, for example, or at a water heater that has stopped heating. Symptoms alone rarely tell the whole story, and pricing a symptom is how homeowners end up paying twice.
Step two - you get one written, flat-rate quote. Before any repair work starts, you see the full price for the complete job in writing: what will be done, what it includes, and what it costs. There is no open-ended hourly meter and no line-by-line guesswork to decode.
Step three - the price is the price. Once you approve the quote, that is the amount you pay for the agreed scope. The only way it changes is if the scope itself changes - for instance, if opening a line reveals damage that could not be seen during diagnosis. In that case we stop, show you what we found, and get your approval on the revised scope before anything extra is done.
And if you say no? Then no work begins. The quote is yours to decline, compare, or think over - approval always comes before work, never after.
